Robert Nelson

Robert (Alan Bob) Nelson (* 16. November 1901 in Columbus, Ohio; † 21. Februar 1973) war ein US-amerikanischer Zauberkünstler, Händler, Erfinder und Autor.

Leben

Im Alter von zehn Jahren fing Robert Neslon an zu zaubern. Er hatte sich besonders mit der Mentalzauberkunst beschäftigt. Mit 13 Jahren trat er zum ersten Mal mit einer Mental-Darbietung auf.

Zunächst blieb er Teilzeitprofi, machte dann aber 1921 seine Leidenschaft zum Hauptberuf. In diesem Jahr gründete er auch sein Unternehmen Nelson Enterprises in Columbus, Ohio. Das Unternehmen wurde rasch zu einer führenden Firma rund um die Mentalzauberkunst.

1972 übernahm Micky Hades das Unternehmen.

Von 1928 bis 1935 leitete er als Dr. Korda RaMayne, PsD eine Hörfunksendung unter dem Titel "Voice of Destiny".

Robert Nelson ist Autor zahlreicher Fachbücher.
